 Disappointed in workmanship August 21, 2010
My daughter leaves for college in a week. She started packing her jewelry in this Hagerty 19888 Hanging Jewlry Keeper and it is defective! One section which should be for earrings just completely was not "sewed" correctly so the sections are not separated properly. I tried sewing the missing seam to correct this and could only finish part of it due to the construction. Anyways, we really love the item but it's defective and we are dissapointed in the lack of quality. Too late to send back but wish the manufacturer could get this feedback.

I've had this for a couple of weeks and, so far, it's preventing tarnish as claimed. I don't have a lot of silver jewelry but what I do have I didn't wear much because it was constantly needing to be cleaned. I have high hopes for this storage bag. I went round-and-round looking at the many different styles of jewelry storage on amazon and other sites and this was one of the only ones I could find that specifically claimed to prevent tarnish. I have a chunky cuff that fits nicely in the medium pockets and the many smaller pockets are perfectly sized for earrings, rings and bracelets. There is a big pocket on the back where I keep a cuff-style necklace and it fits nicely as well. Besides the included wooden hanger, a HUGE feature for me was the zippered pockets. This is a nice touch that so many of the others don't have. The only thing I wish was different is the number of necklace loops. If I had my wish I'd add more on the back of the hanger. But overall it is a good blend of what I was looking for in a sterling silver jewelry storage bag.

Man, I love this thing. I chose this over similar hanging jewelry organizers because this Hagerty version has a large area to hang necklaces. I have half a dozen delicate silver chains that tangle easily on themselves and therefore can't put them in a zippered pocket... each one would just tangle up into a knot. Previously, I'd been leaving them laid out on my bathroom counter and this took up a lot of space and looked cluttered. But this Hagerty organizer has a row of 8 snap-secured loops to hang necklaces on, and since they're between the main pale yellow fabric and the clear vinyl on the outside, the chains don't move, they don't swing and catch onto other chains or anything like that. They stay put. Perfect!
As for other jewelry, I put rings, bracelets, and earrings in this organizer too. Before I had this organizer, I had everything in little ziploc baggies that were then tucked into little jewelry boxes, that were *then* tucked away in drawers. I'd completely forget I had a particular ring or earrings that would've gone perfectly with an outfit. Out of sight, out of mind, you know? Now, my organizer is hanging in my closet next to my clothes, easy to see and everything in its place.
I highly recommend this jewelry keeper!

Such a wonderful idea and space saver. I was really getting sick of dealing with jewelry boxes that wouldn't fit everything and then forgetting stuff that I had. Everything has it's own little pocket where it stays clean and you can SEE everything you own. This product makes it much easier to accessorize and this is fairly inexpensive. Will also be great for travelling! I plan on buying a second one for myself and one for my mom.

This is a great organizer and well-designed, with one exception - the zippers catch. With a slight adjustment in the quality of the zippers, this would be a 5 star product.
